WHAT WE DO

in harmonic laboratory

INSTALLATION

From galleries to public locations, commercial to improvised spaces, we love to create bold works for different spaces.

PERFORMANCE

Our group formed through an interdisciplinary performance for the stage. We have since worked with contemporary dance, symphonies, operas, education, and the public.

COMMUNITY

Our goal is to create a culture where artists and the arts thrive within our community. That can mean higher pay, more opportunity, or access to more creative spaces.

ABOUT US

Harmonic Laboratory began in late 2010 in the spirit of collaboration and works only possible through interdisciplinary practice. After creating an initial work for the stage called Harmonic Tremors, a piece that explored volcanology through dance, musical composition, and projected animation.

Former stage works include [Harmonic Tremors (2010); Four Corners (2012), Tesla: Light Sound Color (2017-18)]; works for gallery and museum [James Madison University (2016), High Desert Museum (2019), and others]; and collaborative projects with fellow Arts organizations [Eugene Symphony (2019); Eugene Cultural Services (2014-2024), Eugene Opera (2022)]. Harmonic Laboratory was the recipient of a 2016 Creative Heights Grant from the Oregon Community Foundation.
